There is a lot to see and do in Valencia and if you are short on time, having a plan or itinerary will help you make the most of your visit.

1 Day Itinerary

Morning:

  • Central Market (Mercado Central):
    • Start your day early with a visit to one of the oldest running food markets in Europe. It’s a great place to experience local life, buy some fresh produce, or grab a light breakfast.
  • La Lonja de la Seda:
    • Right next to the Central Market, this Gothic-style civil building was once used for trading silk and is now a UNESCO World Heritage site.
  • Valencia Cathedral and El Miguelete:
    • Visit this iconic cathedral and climb the El Miguelete tower for panoramic views of the city.

Late Morning:

  • Plaza de la Virgen:
    • A historic square surrounded by the Valencia Cathedral, Basilica of the Virgin, and the Turia fountain. It’s a great place to relax and people-watch.
  • Palacio del Marqués de Dos Aguas:
    • A baroque palace that houses the National Ceramics Museum.

Lunch:
